World Down Syndrome Day is on March 21st, a day that celebrates individuals born with 3 copies of chromosome 21, which is unique to those born with Down syndrome. World Down Syndrome Day was created to promote awareness and understanding of Down syndrome and to advocate for inclusion, rights and a better life. From March 17th through March 23th, the local community will be able to show their support for the Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan (DSAWM) and local business through a small $10 donation in exchange for great deals at a wide variety of local businesses throughout West Michigan.
